Hope in the Hills of Warren, a community extension of Warren County Habitat for Humanity, will be offering two Weekends of Hope in 2012. Each event is designed to help people grow in Christian faith through service within our community. 

 

First Weekend of Hope - April 27th - April 29th, 2012

 

 

Second Weekend of Hope - June 29th - July 2, 2012

 

 

Volunteer workers will complete home repair projects for selected elderly, low-income, and families in need.  The work at each home will be done by several teenagers and at least one adult leader, representing many Christian denominations and different community organizations.  Eligible repair projects may include:

 

·   Porch repair/construction
·  Step repair
·  Exterior and interior painting 

  

·     Weatherization/caulking   

·     Wheelchair ramp repair/construction

 ·     Yard clean up 


Only homes within the Warren Hills sending district will be considered for selection.  This area includes Washington Boro, Washington Twp., Mansfield Twp., Franklin Twp., and Oxford. 

 

Both labor and materials are free to qualifying households.  The homeowner is expected to be in the home while the work crews are present, approximately
