VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Hope in the Hills of Warren recently became a community extension of the Warren County Habitat for Humanity and held two events known as "Weekends of Hope" in 2011. Hope in the Hills of Warren will be offering two Weekends of Hope in the Spring and Summer of 2012.

First Weekend of Hope - April 27th - April 29th, 2012

Friday, April 27th - 6 pm -7:30 pm (Pizza and Orientation)
Saturday, April 28th - 7:30 am - 4:30 pm (Work)
Sunday, April 29th - 12:30 pm - 5:30 pm (Work)
Cost $25 - Includes materials for the job, Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, snacks, and t-shirt

Second Weekend of Hope - June 29th - July 2, 2012

Friday, June 29th - 6 pm -7:30 pm (Pizza and Orientation)
Saturday, June 30th, Sunday July 1st, Monday, July 2nd (Work Dates)
Saturday and Monday - 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
Sunday - 12:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Cost $25 - Includes materials for the job, Friday dinner, Saturday and Monday breakfast, snacks and a t-shirt

Volunteer workers will complete home repair projects for selected elderly, low-income, and families in need. The work at each home will be done by several teenagers and at least one adult leader, representing many Christian denominations and different community organizations. These events will focus on painting, light home repair/construction (decks, porches, stairs, ramps) and landscape work for the senior, disabled, and low income residents in the Warren Hills area.
