Hope in the Hills of Warren, working in conjunction with the Warren County Habitat for Humanity, is a non-profit organization of volunteers from various churches and community organizations that has been created to bring youth and adult volunteers to our community for one week during the Summer of 2010. These volunteers will come to Warren County to do minor repairs on up to 70 homes in one week. These repairs might be in the form of construction of wheelchair ramps, repair/replacing porches, interior/exterior painting, drywall repairs, mobile home underpinning, etc. Typically, the work is performed on the homes of elderly, low-income, and disabled folks; with all the work completed at no cost to the homeowner.
Mission Statement: Our mission, as volunteers from different Christian denominations, is to provide an opportunity through Group Workcamps to improve our community by sharing our love and skills.
